Ensure the bin is completely dry before attaching back to the cyclone, and press firmly on the centre of the clear bin base to close before placing back on the machine.

Open the bin lid being careful to ensure dust is captured.

Checking the upright lock
The upright lock can become displaced and cause the machine to not stand correctly. This can be easily resolved by following the procedure:
Recline the machine back until it lies flat on the floor, and then stand behind it.
On the right side, by the back wheel you will find the valve pipe carriage.
Check the valve pipe is clear of blockages by pressing the push button to remove it from the valve carriage.
Lock the valve carriage into place by pressing the black push button in front, and lifting the rear section until it clicks into place.

A damp or musty smell is caused when dust in the cyclone has come into contact with water.
It may not be a direct contact with water, for example when vacuuming pet hair that is slightly damp, this moisture will combine with the dust in the cyclone causing the smell.

How to operate the brush control
When in the vacuuming position, the arrow on the clutch control should be pointing to 'Carpeted floors', and the Brush bar will be spinning.

Move the dial back to the 'Hard floors' position to turn the Brush bar off to vacuum hard flooring or delicate carpets and rugs.

How to attach the Wand, hose and accessories
Lift up the Wand cap and pull the metal tube from inside the Wand until it locks into place.

Press the wand release catch and remove the wand handle and hose from the machine.
